"Join us as our little rose takes her first bite of rice
Soon she'll taste sugar & spice & other things nice
At her Annaprashan we seek your blessings
So she may bloom into a stunning flower
And enjoy all the beauty that a full life brings!"

For baby Aadriti’s Annaprashan (1st Rice ceremony/weaning ceremony- also the 1st rite of passage in a Bengali baby’s life), her parents approached us to create a soft, feminine invitation for their guests.

Owing to her peaches and cream complexion and general loveliness, Aadriti is fondly called “Rose” or “Rosie” – Her “Daak Naam” (nickname) to which she has even started to respond more than her “Bhalo Naam” (Her good name) So, we figured what could be more fitting than having a rose-themed invitation card in millennial/blush pink hues?

While the main card itself was a blushing beauty in hues of pink and silver, the crowning glory was the envelope. The envelope front showcased the poetic verse (written above) exclusively created for this occasion and was aptly sealed with a rose.

The back had a blissful 3D Ganesha reposing in a rose gold shade.
Oh, and you can’t miss the baby’s breath ensconcing the rose adding that x-factor!
